Raising Money
A question was just raised wondering if I will be selling any of the images I have been posting as prints to assist the North Dakota Badlands Horse.
The answer to that is yes!
The exhibit I am doing in October – Fly Without Wings – “A Tribute to the Spirit of the American Wild Horse” will definitely help raise money for the North Dakota Badlands Horse group. The images I have been sharing will be a part of that exhibit, but not available until October at the exhibit. Afterthe exhibit they will be available on my website.
In the meantime, a percentage of sales of existing Wild Horse images from my website go to the NDBH.
My prints are done on an archival paper called Hahnemuhle 308 for the black and white images and the color images are printed on Hahnemuhle 305. The Hahnemuhle paper brings out incredible detail! They are titled and signed with a graphite pencil and if it is a limited edition print, they are numbered and include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). I use a local printing company where I can work with them first hand on the quality of the output. (We also print on canvas.)
For instance, this image, taken in 2012, of Circus and Coal fighting over Busy Blue and her foal.
Thanks for the question! Have a great day!
