Description
“Blow, blow, thou winter wind, thou art not so unkind as man’s ingratitude.”
– William Shakespeare
This award winning image is by far one of the most emotionally packed images I have had the immense pleasure to capture. Our quarter horse, Tugboat, had gone to water and was struggling in the fierce, cold wind to get back to the herd! It was a classic Minnesota winter storm and for those who know me, know how I live for these moments, the challenge of human and equipment against the elements.
We have a 36×24 of “Winter’s Struggle” hanging in our home at the top of the landing. It is a permanent addition to our eclectic collection of art from a Rothko serigraph to original oils, spanning all subject matters.
