Wild In The Mist

Description

Wild, bachelor stallion at the time of this image, Gray Ghost, steals the early morning hour.  Bathed in fog and mist spreading over the badlands near Upper Paddock Creek his etherealness adds just the right amount of life to the layers of light.

Gray Ghost changed worlds in the fall of 2018. Three short years after this image was captured along fog covered Paddock Creek in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Gray Ghost was and still is loved by the thousands of people who had the great pleasure to witness his wildness.

This is also available in black and white – Mist In The Wild – it was an even split on who liked black and white versus this image in color. I, of course, love the timeless aspect of a black and white image

We donate a percentage of the sale of this print to Walk By Faith Therapeutic Riding, a legitimate non-profit located in northern Minnesota, who use wild horses adopted from Theodore Roosevelt National Park in their programs, providing hope to the lives of children and veterans.
