The young ones! The theme for naming the 2015 foal crop of wild horses in Theodore Roosevelt National Park was national parks. We, Kathleen, and I, found Sidekick’s wild band deep in the interior of the park, Bandelier was one day old! Kathleen, CSU Research Tech, and I hiked about 13 miles this day in search of the wild horses! This was worth the last effort at the end of the day to find this wee colt with his momma, River! Here is the story behind this day – Thirteen Mile Day!
We are donating 10% of any wild horse print sales to Walk By Faith Therapeutic Riding, a legitimate non-profit group who use wild horses in their program giving hope back to the lives of children and veterans.
