Precious Gold

“Ô, Sunlight! The most precious gold to be found on Earth.”

~ Roman Payne

Good Morning from rainy Medora!

I can actually hear it, sitting in my room, with my morning cup of coffee. The first time, really, to actually be able to hear the rain from inside. That is awesome in a country where the average overall precipitation is only 15 inches a year and that includes about 30 inches of snow in the winter months.

The land has been slowly awakening, and that precious sound of moisture collecting on the ground, is going to make it burst even more with green, aqua, gold, red, purple, yellow, and blue! Even the neighborhood robin is taking advantage of the puddles scattered across the patio outside my door.

Seems I have sidetracked myself from the sunset image of two wild yearlings I am sharing with you. It is a contradiction of sorts — rain, sun. But one needs the other to bring life to the land and rainbows across the sky.

Have an amazing gold filled day in your part of the world! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support and encouragement!!!
