I Am Free - Deb Lee Carson

Noble, proud, regal, majestic, strong, wild and free…..those are all words that come to mind when I see this wild stallion. Satellite!

He has a distinct harem, they are primarily black, the three mares, two yearlings, and now two fillies. He has a very colorful black overo mare with an apron, named Sweetheart. She is aptly named for the marking in her apron which clearly is the shape of a heart.

When we see them on the landscape they are easily recognized from a distance! “Oh, that’s Satellite’s band.”
