“Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful, for beauty is God’s handwriting.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

About mid morning it is a common sight to see bands huddled together on ridgetops facing into the wind! On this occasion, Red Face’s harem and his yearlings, and one of his two-year-olds were doing just that, resting together, sharing the job of scattering nose flies, and soaking up the sun.

Enjoy your Thursday and as always thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your ongoing support and spreading the word of these amazing wild horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park!
