Babies, Babies, Babies
Babies, babies, babies!
They are hitting the ground hard and fast right now!!! Quadalupe arrived to Gary’s band, Lincoln and Melissa found her on Saturday. She was about one day old and her momma is Rosie. Visit the NDBH (North Dakota Badlands Horse) facebook page to see her pics!
My dear friends were visiting from South Dakota, Carissa and Christine, and my husband is here from Minnesota and at days end yesterday we just missed the birth of Acadia! A sweet, tiny, black filly out of Sapphire and in Cocoa’s band.
Earlier in the day we saw Sapphire, and both Christine and I noticed her waxed and saw her have a contraction. She patiently waited for the park to become quiet in the early evening before she presented this sweet, little, lively filly!
This is what the NPS says about Acadia National Park:
“People have been drawn to the rugged coast of Maine throughout history. Awed by its beauty and diversity, early 20th-century visionaries donated the land that became Acadia National Park. The park is home to many plants and animals, and the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic coast. Today visitors come to Acadia to hike granite peaks, bike historic carriage roads, or relax and enjoy the scenery.”
I hope your weekend was awesome as mine was spending time with my husband and friends!
